Dr. Thomas Braun takes great pride and care in treating his patients. He has strong ties to his community and prides himself on giving back to the community. Dr. Braun grew up downstate and he has been practicing in the local area since 1990. He spends time working at the Will Grundy Free Clinic and is also involved in several local study clubs.

Our Staff

Tracy Carberry, RDH

Tracy began working with Dr. Braun in January 1997. She began her undergrad degree at Northern Illinois University until she decided that dentistry was where she wanted to be. She then went on to graduate Phi Theta Kappa from Prairie State College in 1993. She took her first hygiene position at a general practice office in Chicago before she discovered the challenges of a periodontal office with Dr. Braun. Tracy truly loves her job and the expanded duties that have become available to hygienists in recent years. One of the best parts are of course the relationship she is able to form with her patients, from their initial therapy to maintenance, she has developed quite an “extended family”! On the personal side, Tracy married her high school sweetheart in 1993 and has since had three amazing children of whom she is incredibly proud! She has an adventurous spirit and enjoys competition. Her interests and hobbies include decorating, gardening, real estate, spending money (according to her husband!) and any outdoor activity! Her favorite thing is vacationing with her husband and children. Tracy looks forward to meeting you and helping you on your way to optimal oral health!

Sheri Eichholzer

Sheri grew up in Michigan on a large dairy farm and has a great fondness for horses. After college she moved to New Jersey, Pennsylvania, Massachusetts and then settled in Joliet in 1995. She has worked in Dentistry since living in Joliet. Sheri has worked with Dr. Braun since 2004 at the front desk. She has 3 children and 2 stepchildren, two grandchildren and two more on the way in 2008! Her favorite past time is spending time with her husband Dave on their boat whenever possible. She enjoys working for Dr. Braun, meeting and working with our patients and helping them to meet their goals and feel at ease.

Adrienne (Adi) Kautz

Adi was born and raised in Joliet. She is married and has 3 children. She worked in General Dentistry for 8 years before coming to work with Dr. Braun as his Surgical Assistant in 1999. She loves working with patients, helping them to overcome their fears and to feel at ease while they are in her care.

Kathy Mildice

Kathy grew up in Oak Lawn. She is married and the mother of three daughters. She began her dental career in 1980 working for a periodontist then switched to general dentistry for more experience. She took a break while her daughters were young and returned to work in 2000 and has worked with Dr. Braun as one of his Surgical Assistant’s since 2006.

Nancy Painter

Nancy grew up in Harvey, IL were her father was Fire Chief. She has worked with Dr. Braun since 2003 at the front desk. She is married and has 2 children and 2 dogs. Nancy enjoys going for long walks with her dogs and shopping for antiques. She worked in medical for 13 years and is our office guru with helping our patients with insurance issues.

Dory Topolski

Dory was born and raised in the “Back of the Yards” in Chicago. She moved to the south suburbs and is now living in the country. She and her husband Ted (of 40 years) have 5 adult married children, along with their spouses and 8 grandchildren who they adore. Other interests are helping people in her new community and church. She likes to travel to see her daughter in Virginia, visit historical sites all over the U.S., decorating, landscaping and remodeling.

Dory has worked with Dr. Braun since 1999. She has a total of 15 years experience as a Surgical Assistant. She enjoys her work with Dr. Braun and especially loves the patients and treats them like family. She likes learning new techniques and procedures. She also loves her co-workers at the office and is looking forward to meeting you!
